Montrose Child Care Center is an independent non-profit
corporation, licensed by the State of New York. The center received accreditation from the National Academy of Early
Childhood Programs (NAEYC) in 1996.
Montrose Child Care Center provides developmentally appropriate programs
in a warm and nurturing environment that will encourage positive self-esteem and individuality. We provide experiences
that will enable each child to develop a sense of themselves and to interact with other children and caring adults.
Carefully planned activities give each child an opportunity to discover skills, talents and their individual abilities.
The Montrose Child Care Center is staffed by qualified teachers and assistants with
expertise in child care and development. They are eager to work with parents to develop the best possible plan for their
child. All of the staff participates in continuing education in the field of early childhood.
Enrichment programs are provided for all age groups at the center. They include: music,
movement, naturalist, visits from the librarian, class trips and many special days. The staff strives to provide a curriculum
that is interesting and challenging for the children while meeting the developmental needs of each age group.
